INTODUCTION

Al-Abid Steel And Welding Workshop was established in 1993 at Qazian Road Gujar Khan Distt Rawalpindi. The founder of workshop Malik Abid Hussain Awan started this workshop with local skilled workman. The object of the workshop was to provide latest-steel technology and to support construction industry with latest accessories needed in Modern Style of construction.

This period was at climax in construction industry. Our initial work has started in 1981 by my elder brother in a small shop which developed in a big workshop in 1993-94 and workshop was finally converted into a company. Apart from household accessories like doors, windows, main gates, round ladders, railings, boundary wall, terries gate, stairs, all type of steel furniture is being produced in our workshop. All types of welding works are the significant features of our workshop.

Workshop’s main building’s covered area is 2400 Sq. Ft. in which Drill Machine, Two Cutter Machines, Three Welding Plants, Three Hand Drills, Five Hand Grinders, Two Stand Grinders are installed. In family history, at present five workshops are in operation being managed by my brothers.

FUTURE PLAN:-

We are planning to manufacture Electric Main Gates, with Remote Control, Finger Print System, Sliding System etc. in near future. For future plan of Al Abid Steel and Welding Workshop we will be meeting more skilled manpower. We have lately got registered our workshop into a company with Govt. of Pakistan, and got association with Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
